Steve Talbot, who goes by the moniker, Stevie Dred, is a resident of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

He considers himself an academic; as he sees life as a continuous journey of learning. His love for music

began as a child when he lived across from two of the most dynamic dance halls of the of the 1960s and

the 1970s. First it was Gold Coast Beach, located in 7 Miles Bull Bay, Eastern St. Andrew, and then Little

Copa in 8 Miles, also in Bull Bay.

He currently hosts “In the Scheme of Things,” a weekly radio show featuring music from all genres on

Riddim WSM Radio. His show incorporates music, as well as social and political commentaries.
